BFF

BFF
Best Friend Forever

I believe it is someone you are destined to meet and to whom you can pour your heart out, tell the most idiotic things you have done without being embarrassed. And be there when you need him/her the most. Thus, not some people you gather up to do some stupid TV show. Yes, we are talking about Paris Hilton, that dumb…goat. Apparently she found herself one named Britney in the last season, I guess if you like Britney so much, why not just stick to Spears. Now she’s came up with the cleverest idea of getting herself a new BFF in Dubai! I wonder how that would turn out… Because she is so crazy about wearing veils in the summer… haha.

Looking for PHP Programmer

Just passin’ it on. The famous DDG is currently looking for skilled volunteer who has time and interest to help build the site further. Here’s the original message:

Some things that needs development on this site is far too advanced for my skills, so I’m wondering if there’s anyone out there with good php/mysql developing skills/experience who wants to help out?

I can’t pay anything unfortunately, as most of my money goes to pay for the hosting.

Drop a email if you are interested.

Forget not

Yesterday was exactly one year ago when an earthquake claimed countless lives of young children and adults. It’s still fresh in China’s mind. Sichuan is still recovering, many places are still wreckage. Let us not forget.

New shoes, same old story

My mom got me this cute pair of sandals last summer but I never got the chance to wear it last year. So this year at the first ray of close-to-summer sunshine, I put them on. It is one of those peep-toe sandals, white and cute ^_^ Looks comfy. Stress on the word ‘looks’.

I was only few blocks away from my house and my left foot started to feel the pain already, gah I should have known! Now I have a blemish on my foot, for the 56476432th time.

Never, trust new shoes! (Except Adidas -.- Never had problem with them)

The big ?

Religion is bound with rules and gives meaning to the word: Sin, every religion is trying to teach us how to be a better human being by either help people around you or make peace with yourself. Being religious means boundaries, though I think it’s a good thing to have guidelines in life but sometimes I do wish I could explore more what the world can offer. Oh I’m protestant by the way.

I made myself one without actually knowing the Christianity thoroughly, sometimes I found myself to be too sceptical about the things that I shouldn’t be. I guess the entire mankind does one thing or another that they shouldn’t be doing, that is what’s being alive all about. A life with nothing else but certainties seems boring to me. Maybe I’m just at a ‘doubt everything’ age, maybe 20 years later when I look back I might be laughing my ass off about this statement, ach what the heck.

Again sins, Bible made it easy for us to judge which actions should be considered as sins. Those people who are preaching all the divine stuff, are they practising what they are preaching? Everyone should scrutinize oneself before judging others. Because everyone can be judgmental, few are self-conscious.

I guess I should call myself a sceptical protestant due the fact I believe in God. Besides that, I do have loads of questions about the Bible which I tried to ask about but were not always answered in the way that could turn the big ‘?’ into a ‘.’

Meanwhile, may Lord bless my brain for the upcoming terms. Amen.

Happy (early) Eastern

Long time no see! The holidays are coming up, we have two weeks off ^_^ Yeah~~ I guess it’s time for lots of chocolate eggs and bunnies =3

Since I’m at a protestant church, we’ll be hosting a special service next week Sunday. Our pastor said we should each prepare something for that day, for example: sing or read a passage etc. I’m not sure yet of what I’ll be doing x_x,,,

PS: Thanks Bev for taggin’ meh~~ There, I updated! Whahaha~~

- Edit -

I found a quote ideally for this time of the year… or years.

There are 10^11 stars in the galaxy. That used to be a huge number. But it’s only a hundred billion. It’s less than the national deficit! We used to call them astronomical numbers. Now we should call them economical numbers.

Exams finally over

I know I haven’t blogged in a WHOLE month, I had to study for my college mid-semester exams. Only had four but I’m pretty sure I failed for atleast one already T_T||

January has been a pretty chaotic month, first my friend came over to visit, ofcourse I couldn’t let her to be alone in this total strange country, I had to take her everywhere etc etc… Then there was my bday, another year older. Makes me officially 22. Last but not least the exams, whoohoo! Which I’m relieved it’s finally over. I have one week off from now on, I’m gonna enjoy while it lasts.

It’s too bad I had to miss the sales this month, I’ve been told that there’re some pretty good deals out there, I guess I have to wait until July to be able to shop again. Anyways, how are you guys?

Last day of 2008!

I better post something.

Happy New Year for everyone who accidentally stumble upon my dear little site here!

Best wishes for 2009! As for me, I go watch fireworks tonight. What you guys do on the new years eve?

Akismet yeah~~~

I installed Akismet following Nelson and Bev’s advice and it worked beyond my expectations! Whoot thanks for the recommendation, I love it! The blog ish now offcially spam-free! Yay~

And happy Christmas for all!!!! Hope you guys get lots of presents!

Doggy, whoot!

My first dog was a mix German Shepherd I had to bring it back after a year because he was ‘crying’ all the time when nobody is at home. Apparently the old lady even called police once to check, a little paranoid maybe? Anyways, me and my bf were extremely sad because we had the dog for over a year T_T;

The second one we bought was a Jack Russel, only 10 weeks old when we first got him. Here are one of the few pictures we have left of him. Because he ran off in the third week T_T Me and my bf were shattered T_T. I cried a lot… In the end, we didn’t find him again. Sad, I know…

Today we went to take a look on the Labrador we saw the other day on internet. The owners couldn’t keep her because the landlord doesn’t allow pets. She is 2.5 years old, light brown coloured and looking cute!!! I hope the third time is a charm. I’ll post pics of her once I get some nice shots. She’s the first large breed we have bought, I hope everything’s going to turn out okay this time. I really want to watch the dog grow up and age. I, we, want to be there for her. Wish us luck this time!!

Oh, I also noticed that all the comments on the first page went missing after I updated WP, anyone any idea?? Maybe I overwrote a page I wasn’t suppose to? If so, which one? I’d be sure to keep a copy of it next time.
